Delete your account & data

You can delete your Candid account and all associated data at any time. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete from within the app (fastest)

• Open Candid and go to Settings.
• Tap Delete account.
• Confirm.

Your account and all associated data are removed.

Or request deletion by email

If you can’t access the app, email contact@coachai.uk from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm ownership before proceeding.

What gets deleted

• your profile and login,
• all your journal entries, moods, and margin notes,
• your Confidant conversations and messages,
• your reminder settings and push token,
• and your app-specific subscription record held by us.

Timing: deletion is effectively immediate. Backups and provider logs are purged on our providers’ standard retention cycles thereafter.

Note on billing: deleting your account does not by itself cancel an auto-renewing subscription. Manage or cancel that in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
