How do I write an entry?
Tap Turn to a fresh page to write it yourself or talk it through with the Confidant, or use Jot a line on the home screen for a quick note.
What is the Confidant?
An AI companion for reflection that can open a gentle conversation and help weave your words into an entry. It is not a therapist or crisis service, and does not give medical or professional advice.
How does the subscription work?
Candid Premium unlocks the Confidant, weaving, and margin notes for £3.99/month with a 7-day free trial. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
How do I restore a purchase?
Reopen the app while signed in to the same Apple ID / Google account; your subscription restores automatically. If it doesn’t, email us.
How is my journal kept private?
Your entries are stored privately to your account with row-level security, so no other user can read them. You can also enable Face ID / fingerprint lock in Settings.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings → Delete account. See our account deletion page for details.
